Lori Knapp Cares is currently looking for dedicated Direct Support staff for our adult family homes in Fond du Lac.

• Tell us what you can work! Lori Knapp Cares offers a variety of casual call positions from 2 hour shifts to 12 hour shifts. Work as little as 8 hours a month or work full time.
• You don't have to fit the mold. Lori Knapp Cares offers our casual call positions a flexible start and end time. Can you only work while the kids are in school? Are you a night owl but like to be in bed by 2am? Want to be able to tuck the kids in bed by 8pm?

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Current Openings

• First Shift - 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. fill in staff.
• Second Shift - 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Part-time and fill in staff.
• Third Shift - 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Part-time and fill in staff.
• Casual Call - Flexible Schedule Part-time to Full-time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
