Trimmer

We are looking for Part Time Cannabis Trimmers for our Sacramento location. Trimmer is a key member of the cultivation team who does the final steps of preparing the product for the patient/consumer.

In addition to base hourly rate, trimmers may qualify for weekly bonus based on weight of trim produced.

Responsibilities

• Hand Trimming, Cleaning, Bucking, De-fanning, Cleaning
• Trimmers are primarily responsible for the efficient processing of marijuana flower.
• Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all wet trim weights.
• Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse while performing trimmings.
• Occasionally required to trim off the stick once plants are dry.
• Responsible for maintaining a quality product.
• May be assigned other job duties as necessary.
• Operate with integrity and honesty.
• Communicate known issues to the management team to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the company.
• Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all staging areas.
• Complete side tasks and medicine processing projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis.
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures.
• Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
• At least 21 years of age
• Demonstrated passion for serving the cannabis community.
• Ability to work within a team and without.
• Must not have been convicted of any felony offense.
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Organization and planning skills
• Ability to build relationships
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking frequently. The employee must be able to use one hand frequently. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a team lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop crouch, reach, and lift for at least 4 hours at a time.
