Responsibilities
- Create and develop campus recruiting partnerships with our HR and business leaders in Latin America
- Supports development and distribution of campus recruiting materials
- Support full-cycle recruiting process for internships and entry-level hires in the Americas
- Conduct initial screenings with candidates
- Provide coordination and support around event selection and management in Latin America
- Develop and support recruitment relationships with select universities and technical schools in Latin America
- Assist the campus recruiting manager in implementing a cohesive strategy targeting educational institutions that will best support our hiring needs, the definition of the core activities in a coordinated way (lectures, career fairs, university partnerships, chairs, etc.), the elaboration of a marketing plan, calendar of activities and budget requirements.
- Network with educational institutions, schools and universities – working alongside Alstom country and regional representatives
- Diversity champion and ensure early career hires and pipelines are supporting Alstom diversity goals and vision
- Train ambassadors on how to best represent Alstom’s interest on campuses (content, key messages, expected outcomes)
- Proactively manage candidate pools and provide an amazing candidate experience
- Identifying and organising the recruitment advertising to generate prospective candidates
- Direct source candidates across a variety of sourcing tools and platforms (including social media)
- Track progress on the development of our growing educational partnerships
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, written and spoken
- Experience managing high volume recruitment
- Proven ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining excellent service levels
- Proven negotiating and influencing skills
- Able to work with a variety of personalities and develop strong effective working relationships within the business area and with other members of the HR team
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to adapt style and approach to fit the situation
- Able to respond and adapt to change effectively
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Process driven
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Problem-solver
- A strong team player
- Diplomatic and tactful approach when dealing with challenging situations and clients
- Dynamic driven with a passion for TA and campus recruiting
- Experience of working with an ATS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar preferred
- 2+ years experience in a campus recruiting or similar role required
- Ability to travel 40%
