**Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday 12pm - 8pm. **
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under the guidance of the Operation Manager, the Call Taker / Client Relations Representative is responsible for scheduling and changing appointments for medical transportation, and receiving and directing the caller to appropriate area.
1. Receive and initiate calls in the scheduling and making changes related to medical transportation services.
2. Main point of contact for major or special accounts and events.
3. Liaison between customers, sales, vendors and internal operations.
4. Research and resolve customer issues.
5. Data entry of patient and other demographic information.
6. Verify and obtain payer and prior authorization information using computerized dispatch system.
7. Maintain communication with facility/patient to ensure up-to-date information regarding patient transportation
8. Coordinate with other transportation organizations regarding services subcontracted
9. Ensure appropriate equipment available for field crew staff.
10. Accurate completion of other documentation and ancillary forms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Previous experience of 4 years or more in customer service.
2. Demonstrated success in implementing concierge and customer service initiatives.
3. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
4. Strong organizational skills, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Knowledge of service area preferred.
6. Strong data entry skills.
7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
