Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Days M- F 8AM – 5PM
Position: Position will be remote – following on site required training period.
Location: Advent Health Calhoun, GA
The role you’ll contribute:
Place and receive telephone calls to and from patients to schedule services within the clinics and hospital. The job will require specialist to work with clinic managers and physicians to fill empty schedule openings. Provide good customer service to patients over the phone. Maintain reports to show success rate of work.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Receive inbound calls/emails from prospective patients wanting to schedule appointment
- Call outbound patients who are due for yearly visits, screenings or insurance specific visits
- Follow up with patients to make sure they make their appointments
- Call outbound patients who have “no-showed”
- Provide the patients with basic service information
- Process scheduling/rescheduling of appointment dates
- Confirm scheduled appointments
- Generate emails to patients on a timely basis
- Log all patient comments after call
- Maintain logs of scheduled patients for reporting
- Work closely with Director of Physician Services to provide superior service
- Coordinate scheduling with practice managers and physicians
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Previous customer service experience.
- Proficient with computer programs: Email, Word, Skype Business.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a personable and professional telephone demeanor at all times
- Ability to multi task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Enthusiastic attitude
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
