Job description
The CAD Designer II works independently to accomplish necessary tasks common to the release of new machines and equipment (or support of existing machines and equipment). This role works with cross-functional teams to revise current designs for product enhancements and manufacturing improvement projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain CAD models
· Provide documentation for Engineering Changes.
· Communicate well with internal departments from Engineering, R&D, Costing, Purchasing, and Sales.
· Create and maintain internal and external drawings
· Work with customer as needed on new product design and revisions to current products and handle any customer schematics
· Renderings of CAD Models for customer documents
Requirements:
· Highly proficient with Solidworks 3D design software
·3D Modeling and Drawings Experience
· Exploded views & Bills of Material
· Microsoft Office computer skills in other office apps
· Proficient in Excel
· Detail oriented with analytical abilities.
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Must have excellent communication skills
· Problem Solver
Education:
- Associate Degree (Required)
Experience:
- Work experience 2-5 years (Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,500.00 - $68,000.00 per year
