Become an Outcoder as a Buyer
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service
- Experience with Excel and ERP accounting systems.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English at a (Pearson) C1 level. Ability to read and understand technical documents such as Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, engage in correspondence, and complete forms. Ability to speak effectively with employees, peers, management, and suppliers.
These will be your primary/secondary responsibilities:
- Receive and evaluate electronic requisitions and, if needed, confirm details with the requestor
- Generate & Send Purchase Orders to Vendor
- Request and document PO Confirmations from vendors
- Confirm pricing and delivery dates for new PO’s
- Enter and maintain PO Dates related to each purchase order, including expected delivery date.
