What does a successful Business Systems Analyst do at Fiserv?
The Digital Channels group at Fiserv develops innovative online banking and mobile banking solutions for financial institutions of all sizes with a mission to deliver easy and compelling digital financial management and money movement always at your fingertips.
You'll drive operational readiness and maturity for banking and other financial services products.
You'll thrive by leveraging your exposure to implementations or support of financial services products, good analytical thinking skills, and an aptitude towards project management, process definition and improvement.
You'll work in a collaborative matrixed environment communicating and engaging with multiple teams on a regular basis to provide operational requirements for product releases, identify impacts of releases on operational teams, and ensure completion of various tasks to prepare operational teams to implement and support features/products.
You'll be critical to bringing resources together, driving discussions, and concluding on decisions and next steps.
What you will do:
- Attend recurring product release meetings related to planning, feature grooming and requirements, sprint reviews
Complete and maintain internal release playbooks/checklists and release turnover documents
Ensure creation of deliverables required for operational readiness of supported teams; including, but not limited to training content, process maps and standard operating procedures
Track critical dates and activities
Coordination and planning for rollout of new features, where applicable
Partner with internal customers to ensure their overall satisfaction with operational readiness preparations before release
Participate in departmental projects and initiatives as needed to drive ongoing improvements across the enterprise
What you will need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in one (or more) of the following roles: Implementation Business System Analyst, Implementation Project Manager, Application Support Engineer, Client Technical Support Engineer, or Operational Readiness
- Business Analyst and/or Project Management knowledge
- Financial Services or Banking Industry knowledge
- Basic knowledge of banking/financial industry or online banking features
- Flexibility to work after hours, on-call, and weekends on an as-needed basis
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Project Management certification (PMP)
- Business System Analyst certification
