Business Office Manager
SHIFT: Full-Time, Days

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Business Office Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems to operate the facility in a fiscally responsible manner. This includes keeping systems financially compliant with federal, state, and local requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monthly review of account ledgers, manual recording of account adjustments, computer posting, and the issuance of refunds
- Tracking and maintaining resident finance accounts
- Working with insurance companies to ensure outstanding resident bills are paid
- Review of aging accounts
- Follow-up on outstanding accounts
- Maintaining Daily Census Report
- Prepares, posts, and records data on deposit schedules and maintains resident/patient financial files
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or equivalent in major related to Finance or Business
- Knowledge of HMO, Medicare, Medicaid
- Knowledge of Collections
- Customer Service, Organization, and Leadership
- Extensive knowledge of various Microsoft applications and other office work
- Able to perform managed work initiatives
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a deadline-driven environment
