Overview

A fast-growing behavioral health company is rapidly expanding and providing convenient access to care to suicidal and/or adolescent patients via telehealth. We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to market our services to referring parties. Objectives of this role include:

  • Represent Vita Health, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, to the markets and communities we serve
  • Achieve referral goals by managing your territory and engaging in a professional manner with physicians, their office staff, schools and other referral sources
  • Meet key metrics and milestones of outreach activity as measured as daily, weekly and monthly performance
  • Generate leads, and build and nurture provider and client relationships

Responsibilities/ Duties

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities include:

  • Initiate and maintain relationships with pre-identified high value targets in the territory
  • Initiate client relationships via cold calling and repeat calls to extend territorial reach
  • Meet with area referral sources and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs and effectively communicating our offering using multiple techniques
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
  • Ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding regular check-ins with supervisor and the team to set objectives/monitor progress
  • Communicate feedback/changing needs identified from the field to internal matrix partners

Background/Experience/ Skills & Abilities

  • Proven track record of success exceeding quotas and experience in the sales cycle from plan to close and retention of business preferred
  • Demonstrated skills using multiple approaches to influence sales - at least two levels of an organization, webinars, in person meetings, collateral
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Team player that is supportive and shares best practices
  • Effective feedback communication to organization regarding product/ market needs

Minimum Education, Training, and/or Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales or business administration preferred or
  • 2+ years in sales or account management experience in healthcare, mental health preferred or
  • Clinical background as a medical or behavioral health provider and/or nursing is a significant plus

Equipment

  • A computer and necessary equipment will be provided by the employer. Use of a personal car will be required and mileage will be reimbursed.

Physical Activities

  • Drivers license required

Working Conditions

This is a remote position. Some onsite sales calls, meetings and attendance at community events will be required. Some travel will be required.

  • Medical/surgical sales or behavioral health/medical practice/nursing experience
