Business Development/Outside Sales (Base salary + uncapped commission!)

Doherty Staffing Solutions has a career opening for a people-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to join us as a Business Development Manager.

This position is responsible for the revenue growth of an assigned geographic territory, as well as developing new partnerships between the company and accounts through the coordination of sales, contracts, support teams and internal resources.

This position offers a generous compensation plan (base salary + uncapped commission), performance-based bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone allowance!

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prospects for new business via telephone, Internet, social media or outside sales calls.
• Participates in local professional, business and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition.
• Develops organizational charts and relationships throughout the client company to identify and capture additional business opportunities.
• Creates, maintains, and updates new client files in our CRM
• Participates in monthly review of territory and quarterly business plans with forecasts.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of economic trends and changes affecting local businesses, including knowledge of competitors in area.
• Maintains active involvement in the community and in at least one outside networking group.
• Represents Doherty in a professional and ethical manner.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER KEY REQUIREMENTS

• HS Diploma or GED; or bachelor’s degree in related field
• Previous business to business (b2b) sales experience
