Experience Level: 15+ years (At least 7 years within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry)
Position Summary: We are looking for a Business Development (BD) Director to lead ENGEO’s BD and Marketing team to the next level. In this role, you will formulate, develop and execute strategic plans to pursue new markets and enhance current practices. You will work across all service lines and markets to ensure ENGEO is in prime position for each pursuit.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, refine, and implement a comprehensive annual business development plan.
- Proactively set expectations and maintain high standards of quality work for the BD and Marketing team - inspire excellence and encourage creativity.
- Analyze the efficacy of current branding strategies for ENGEO services, offices, and new markets.
- Engage thought leaders and partners to develop new, multi-faceted market-penetration strategies.
- Work with business leaders and office managers to explore brand awareness through technical connections and networking (university collaborations, sponsorships, conferences, etc.)
- Utilize global resources and position the business development team to triage go/no-go decisions
- Facilitate and cultivate meaningful client relationships to create new business leads.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on team initiatives and strategies.
- Design and execute multi-pronged marketing campaigns (social media, print, email, etc.)
- Establish and communicate an innovative marketing vision that advances our initiatives and increases global market penetration.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging service lines and marketing practices.
- Perform other duties, as requested.

Required Qualifications
- Experience Level: 15+ years (At least 7 years within AEC industry)
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, etc.)
- Software: Proficiency using Microsoft Suite and Adobe InDesign familiarity with marketing tools such as: WordPress, Hootsuite, Constant Contact, and Google Analytics.
- General understanding of the engineering, construction, and consulting industry (geotechnical, environmental, and water resources)
