Job description
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand the business demand and support prioritization within the overall digital technology roadmap
- Capture, analyze and document current and future state business processes and rules
- Gather functional requirements to determine what system/solution requirements are required to meet the desired customer or process needs
- Gather requirements, conduct analysis, impact assessment (fit-gap) and validate the business need
- ● Support project teams through analysis, planning, implementation and closing stages, including:
- Perform customer journey analysis and mapping, identify non-value steps and pain points in the existing processes and design new slick efficient ways or working.
- Establish functional and non-functional requirements for new digital systems and solutions
- Understand and document regulations, ensure that proposed solutions are compliant (for example payment processing regulations)
- Identify and compare solution options with established requirements, estimate
- costs and time requirements for project streams
- Evaluate risks and predict potential problems
- Act as a liaison between the business and the IT team
- Develop quality assurance practices and assessments
- Assist and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Write reports, instructions, and specifications and create flowcharts
- Escalate risks and issues to the project manager that could adversely impact the outcome of the project
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Banking, Finance or related field
- IIBA-Certified Business Analyst Professional would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the General Insurance or Financial industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully applying Business Process Improvement methodologies and/or customer journey mapping activities
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on digital technology projects, particularly websites/web-apps, integrated (omni-channel) telephony, workflow-driven line-of-business and data analytics
- Experience in identifying and analysing data to support decision making
- Advanced analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Extensive Stakeholder Management skills
- Excellent Collaboration skills
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $30.00 - $75.00 per hour
