It Works! Business Analyst

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days (Tue/Wed/Thurs.) in the Palmetto, Florida office/2-days remote. Candidates must be local or relocate to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

Lead meetings with customers and other project team members. Coordinate with the project management team to achieve project goals and objectives.

Determine system requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis. Research and gather business requirements from project stakeholders that will be used by the development team to build solutions. Analyze system requirements to produce process models, application wireframes, and functional business rules.

Assist the project management team in producing quality deliverables, including:

Status reports

Schedule updates

Risk identification and mitigations strategies

Requirements matrices

Test plans/scripts

Diagrams and web page mockups

Assist in the development process, including:

Decomposing IT concepts into user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and mockups as necessary.

Assisting in managing and prioritizing product backlogs.

Participating in sprints, performing testing to ensure acceptance criteria are met.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to gather information from multiple sources and critically evaluate it, reconcile conflicts, disseminate high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from their true needs. Ability to write detailed specification documents and develop activity diagrams, workflow charts and process maps. Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements that drive measurable and expected results. Excellent project management and change control skills. Excellent organizational, document management, and team leadership skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office at a highly proficient level.

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 5+ years of experience operating in a dedicated, cross-functional Business Analyst capacity in an IT organization

• Strong background in core business applications
