GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Safely and efficiently transport students to and from school, and other school sponsored events and programs following Ohio and national traffic safety laws; and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
PAY & BENEFITS
Hourly rate for substitutes - $18.50/hour (effective July 1, 2022) . Substitutes can work a flexible schedule based upon their availability!
Individuals are able to bid on open full-time positions upon successful completion of the training program or can choose to remain on the sub list.
Full-time driver positions begin at $20.28/hour and up commensurate with experience (Chauffeur positions begin at $19.26/hour and up commensurate with experience). Excellent benefits package including free life insurance, SERS retirement system, medical, dental, disability and vision insurance, and sick and personal days for full-time positions!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age, have a clean driving record and pass a physical examination, and drug & alcohol testing. Must complete the District's (FREE) pre-employment training and obtain a CDL license.
There is no out-of-pocket expense for the training!
