JOB SUMMARY:
An excellent opportunity will be coming available for a Transport Driver who is accustomed to planning their route in advance to make efficient use of their time as well as fuel and wear on the facility van. Someone who likes to also be involved in other aspects of the facility such as Central Supply, Maintenance and other operational departments when no transports are scheduled. Located on the south hill of Spokane, Moran Vista, is a 131 apartment complex for elderly assisted and independent living.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating the facility’s transport bus or van in a safe manner; ensuring the bus is clean with a full tank of gas each day. Alerting the Activities Director when the vehicle needs to be serviced, inspected and registration renewed.
• Coordinating with residents’ appointments for the next day to ensure residents are ready for their pick up time as well as to ensure the schedule and routes are confirmed eliminating conflicts to avoid missed appointments.
• Assisting residents on/off the bus and into/out of appointments.
• Being friendly and professional at all times; interacts well with residents, care providers and co-workers. Understands they represent Sapphire Health Services and always demonstrates integrity and a positive outlook.
• Working some holidays, weekend days and additional hours based on the facility’s needs.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Washington state driver’s license that is unexpired and in good standing.
• At least some experience driving a transport bus, Large Van or similar vehicle.
• At least 1 year customer service experience.:
