Burn Boot Camp is seeking a highly motivated team member with a passion for fitness and wellness. Experience in the industry is not required, but off the chart people skills and a dynamic work ethic are. Characteristics of the ideal applicant are flexible availability (Saturdays too!), self-motivated, outgoing personality, lots and lots of energy, care deeply about others, great people skills and a tried and true reliable work ethic. If reaching out to strangers on a daily basis puts you way outside your comfort zone, this position may not be for you.

This is a part-time position which may consist of staffed hours from 4:45 am – 1:00 pm, 4:15 pm – 7:30 pm Monday through Friday as well as 7:15-10:30 am on Saturdays. Scheduling will depend on our needs at the time of hire.


Typical job duties include, but are not limited to:


Client Experience

  • Be sure to greet all clients with a smile as they arrive.
  • Assist with sign-in/scanning in process.
  • Perform trial follow up via phone call, CRM platform, text messages, email or face-to-face conversation.
  • Ensure liability waiver is signed, completed and filed for all clients.
  • Provide a tour of gym for new clients and trials.

Client Growth

  • Follow up post first workout with all client trials.
  • During client trial be sure to encourage/secure membership.
  • Follow up with all trials that ended and did not result in membership conversion.

MindBody Membership Management

  • Entering in new memberships/fit cards and assigning key tags.
  • Assisting members/non-members with any membership issues and add notes for each transaction
  • Entering all clients. Attaching proper service options to trials.
  • Updating clients billing information.
  • Reporting.

Retail

  • Ensure retail section is upholding Burn Boot Camp standards.
  • Restock retail center as needed.
  • Enter in retail sheets daily if unable to process transactions at time of purchase.
  • If clients card declines be sure to get updated billing information.
  • Manage retail promotions.
  • Inventory intake, including reconciliation of packing slips, completion of purchase orders, tagging, etc.

Facility Cleanliness/Maintenance

  • Check Restrooms at beginning of shift and between camps, to ensure they are properly stocked and free of trash and debris on the floor.
  • Assist with cleanliness of floating floor, rubber floors, and carpeted areas.
  • Vacuum and spray floating floor at end of shift.
  • Proper laundering, folding and putting away of sweat towels, shower mats and cleaning cloths.
  • Make sure all equipment is properly put away and report all damaged equipment promptly to Franchise Partner

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent
