Position Summary:
The Building Maintenance and Recycling Handler is responsible for routine general maintenance and upkeep of the company building and grounds. The incumbent will also promote and handle the sorting, storage, and disposal of materials for the company’s zero-waste recycling program.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organize collection, storage, and pick up of recycling items
- Clean and assist with the upkeep of onsite facilities
- Oversee that appropriate levels of cleaning supplies are made readily available
- Keep shop walkways clear and clean up spills with the appropriate equipment
- Clean and stock restrooms daily
- Perform minor repairs and notify supervisors of major repairs
- Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Skills and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent degree such as a GED
- Working knowledge in general maintenance
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
- Strong background in safety
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
