Program Director reports to Director of Programming and Human Resources.
Positions Managed: BUILD Life Coaches and Housing Support Worker
Primary Role:
This position is responsible for programmatic, fiscal management and development of all aspects of the BUILD program. In addition, the BUILD Program Director provides weekly face to face supervision with the assigned Life Coaches, Outreach Life Coaches and Housing Support Outreach Worker.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of program policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that the BUILD program is meeting its DCF and MOVA contract agreements.
- Ensure that BUILD is following the VOCA policies and procedures.
- Complete required MOVA and other funding reports.
- Weekly supervision to the Life Coaches and Housing Support Worker.
- Conducting interviews with potential clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date client records as well as database system.
- Management of the annual budget and assistance with budget planning.
- Attend RYI Managers and all staff meetings as well as necessary DCF, MOVA, and community meetings.
- Providing Training and Education on Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC).
- Building strong collaborations with other community providers in order to identify additional resources for the program and the youth served.
- Maintaining positive and active communication with DCF and MOVA.
- Creating a professional and supportive work environment.
- Carry a caseload of 1-2 youth or young adults, when necessary.

- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and to meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve effectively.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Pay $54,000 - $62,000 per yera
Qualifications Required:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Administration, Management, Human Services, or related field (preferred),
- Minimum of five years professional experience in Administration, Management, Human Services, Child Welfare and/or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience providing direct supervision
- Knowledge of the issues facing youth that have been or at high risk for commercial sexual exploitation, particularly cisgender males and transgender youth
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and to meet deadlines in a timely fashion
- Must be able to travel
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must possess a vehicle
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess strong organization and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Microsoft Office skills

Pay: $56,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
