Job description
IMA Clinical Research is seeking to hire a Contracts Manager. This individual will manage the day-to-day operations of site contract needs including but not limited to the creation, negotiation, and finalization of such contracts.
This is full time, remote opportunity.
We are not accepting candidates from California, Colorado or Washington at this time.
Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to
- Identify and facilitate the implementation of efficient processes to drive budget and contract review and supplier negotiations.
- Advocate for corporate compliance and contract management to offer legal support in contract fulfillment.
- Ensure data is collected and documented for stakeholders to ensure completeness of contracts.
- Provide knowledgeable approaches to educate stakeholders and support them through the contract process.
- Work with key leadership members to ensure contract fulfillment and accuracy in production of all contract negotiations.
- Lead in the creation, negotiation and finalization of all pertinent contractual documents (work orders, change orders, etc.).
- Oversee vendor relationship with budget and contracts vendor.
- Develop budget templates as required to support negotiation for clinical research contracts.
- Work with departments as appropriate to provide pre-approvals for contract needs.
- Anticipate contract requirements by becoming a subject matter expert, working with stakeholders and suppliers to provide legal, budgetary and negotiation support to drive sustainable implementation.
- Strategize innovative ways to change or adapt contracts to meet stakeholder and supplier needs, as well as satisfy the needs of the company.
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor?s Degree
Preferred: Master?s Degree
EXPERIENCE
Required: Clinical research contracts ideally at a global category or manager level.
Required: Experience negotiating with suppliers, adhering to legal contract requirements and facilitating/creating budgetary proposals.
