Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Front Office Manager / General Manager
Schedule: 5:30 am - 11:30 am
Salary: $12 - $14 (Based on Experience & Performance)
Job description
Our BA enjoys being in charge of making our guests breakfast experience memorable by providing a consistent high-quality service and taking pride in the presentation of the items served. You perform a vital role of coordinating and managing weekend breakfast by setting up the buffet standards ensuring all menu items are well stocked, continuously evaluating food preparation needs based on room occupancy, considering busier days, large groups in house and any other changes as the day progresses. You are a crucial team member to ensure a successful and satisfactory breakfast guest experience!
You will:
· Breakfast area must be set up by 6:00 am.
· Checks breakfast area for neatness, cleanliness, proper set-up, and backup supplies.
· Knowledgably of local area and events as well as hotel services in order to answer guest questions.
· Experience working in a fast pace environment with high level of customer service
· Maintain the cleanliness of the buffet and dining area by ensuring all breakfast areas are clean and sanitized
· Prepare all items needs to open the breakfast buffet following correct food-handling procedures.
· Set up and maintain breakfast buffet according to standards (consistency is key, since regular guests will always know where items are) with an attractive abundant-looking, organized, clean and standardized presentation.
· Maintain adequate food supplies on the buffet, refreshing hot food every 30 minutes at a minimum and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout the hours the buffet service is open. Also Continuously refreshed beverages stations (water, coffee, juices, milk, etc.,.) according to standard
· Take inventory of supplies and report any concerns or needed purchases to General Manager
· Interact with guests appropriately and assist them with any questions or concerns they may have in a prompt and friendly manner.
