We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Boxer

Job Summary: In a fast-paced production, team environment, the boxer will maintain safe, environment-compliant behavior and obey all company standards. The boxer is responsible for boxing and inspecting product in the slice area for potential defects. They then load them into self-constructed boxes (or into tubes). Position requires 100% standing in an environment less than 40 degrees. Position also requires occasional twisting and bending, and the ability to document information on area paperwork.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper meat quality.

• Operate the machinery in a safe and correct manner. (Palletizing, scaling, box making and liners).
• Accurately weigh product into boxes.
• Clean assigned area before end of shift (including: pallets, garbage, floor, etc).
• Maintain pace with line speed.
• Report issues to supervisor or lead person immediately.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be safety, quality, and efficiency minded.
• Must have basic computer operational skills.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Exposure to cold (< 40 degrees).
• Ability to lift up to 31-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Extensive fine motor movements.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
