In need of a box truck driver for Tuesday through Friday and to backup current routes if needed (paid additional). This is a 1099/contractor position. This will be run in 26'-30' box truck. CDL not required, but preference given

TYPICAL SCHEDULE

Tuesday- Depart Wendover around 12am(late Monday night), meet up with other truck and swap in Battle Mountain, NV and return to deliver in Salt Lake City around 9am Tuesday morning. Check if reload is available from the same facility. Do an additional delivery 5 miles away if requested. Driver back to Wendover

Same schedule each night, 4 nights per week. Pay is $250 per trip base (x4 days) for the first delivery in SLC and any other deliveries or pick ups are paid extra.

Scan and send copies of your paperwork and invoice on the weekend via e-mail. Paid weekly.

You are paid by the run. If there is a holiday on a normal shipping day or our customer does not ship for some reason, you may not run. Also, additional runs may be available for additional pay.

Requirements:

Drug free- initial and ongoing screening

Minimum 2+years of commercial driving experience in UT/NV area or OTR

Experience using tire chains (if needed)

Clean MVR- initial and ongoing

Knowledge of DOT driver regulations

Preferences:

Experience with filling out DOT driver logs

Ability to learn electronic driver logs
