Advance Employment is hiring for a Warehouse Worker for a non-profit organization in Battle Creek, MI (49014)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer/donor service at all times, both in the store and out in the community
- Drive company trucks to pick up donated merchandise
- Load and unload all donated materials in a timely, efficient and safe manner. Work with the Warehouse Supervisor through the unloading process to keep the warehouse organized for the most efficient processing of merchandise
- Screen donations for sale at the store tactfully and courteously deal with challenging situations.
- Communicate with Store Manager and Warehouse Supervisor regarding incoming donations. Assist with preparation for receiving merchandise as necessary.
- Supervise volunteers or staff assigned to assist on the trucks. Support the store volunteer program by ensuring volunteers have a high quality experience.
- Daily cleaning and straightening of store loading dock area, keeping it neat, clean and organized.
- Assisting in the processing and donation drop off areas, provide input for pricing strategies when appropriate.
- Janitorial duties, general maintenance of the facility and property.
- Reorganizing sales floor and warehouse.
- Price items and merchandise sales floor.
To qualify, you must:
- Be able to come to work on time, daily
- Able to lift 100lb+
- Be able to bend, stoop, twist for 8-10 hours
- Have a valid driver's license (CDL BENEFICIAL)
- Have atleast (3) years prior experience driving commercial vehicle or box truck
Shifts:
- Tuesday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
- Saturdays (10am - 2pm)
This is a full time trial-hire position (90 days) with opportunities for great benefits upon hire in!
Pay:
- $15/HR
