Barreling and Packaging Technician

It’s where our whiskeys, bourbons, vodkas and gins start with non-GMO, food grade materials to ensure the best possible end products. Middle West Spirits is on a fast track of growth, and we are seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual(s) to assist in running their bottling/packaging line. The bottling/packaging technician will ensure bottles are correctly filled, labeled, and packed according to standard as directed by the Packaging Manager. The pay range for this exciting growth opportunity will be between $20 - $23 per hour, depending upon experience listed below.

Other responsibilities to include, but will not be limited too:

• Keeping machinery and work station clean and organized
• Completing inventory of bottling room supplies
• Reporting issues to the line to manager to ensure problems are corrected to meet daily goals
• Move finished goods and materials around warehouse
• Pick, pull, and palletize finished product to fulfill orders as directed by Packaging Manager
• Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned

Experience Required:

Our Bottling/Packaging Technician should have at least 2 years of experience in one of the following;

• Distribution Center Operations
• Manufacturing Plant Operations

Additional Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift 50 pounds

Available Shift:

• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (Multiple Openings due to a NEW Automated Line) in the near future this line could transition to a 2nd shift next year.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Columbus, OH 43209: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse distribution: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
