We are looking for a VIP Bottle Service Hostess/Waitress to join our team here at the legendary Mayan Theater! We are a historic theater/nightclub in the heart of DTLA that has been a staple in the Latin culture of Los Angeles since the 90s. Legendary Latin artists, lucha libre events and a night club experience found nowhere else in DTLA, we have a little bit of everything for someone looking to work in the nightlife industry. We are looking for someone to help us make an impact as one of the first points of contact for hospitality. As part of the hostess team we would love to work with someone who is friendly, welcoming, and good with people and works well alongside the rest of the hospitality team! Some responsibilities also include:
- Creating a welcoming environment for guests
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all beverage regulations
- Efficiency in point-of-sales system
- Ability to answer questions about our services (i.e. open and close times, featured music, and prices of bottle service)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
