The Worcester Youth Center helps prepare young people 14 - 24 to be successful in life through career and education activities, creative leadership opportunities and supporting healthy lifestyles. The Youth Center is open Monday - Friday from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm Employees are expected to participate in some weekend activities throughout the year and in general activities.

Bookkeeper General coordination of all income and expenses relating to the operations of the Youth Center, Grants and contracts with government funders, work with program staff to develop individual program budgets and monitoring of all expenses. Responsibilities include A/R, A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, general journal entries, cost allocations, preparation and execution of the compliance calendar including monthly financial and other reports, annual audit and other audits, 1099’s, form 990, ABC property tax, abatements, grant invoicing.

Bachelor’s in Finance (Accounting) or work experience, mastery of quick books online and experience in a changing non-profit environment and with multiple funding stream, sub-contracts and fiscal entities. (Applies to individuals or firms).

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
