We are looking for a Billing Specialist to support our growing Firm! The Billing Specialist role is focused on the processing of a high volume of complex client bills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of approximately 5,000 client bills monthly
• Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required
• Research and answer account questions from clients as well as attorneys in house
• Monitor client trust balances for noncompliance with agreed upon retainer requirements
• Undertake special projects for management as needed/requested

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in accounting, business or related field.
• Understanding of standard billing concepts, practices, and procedures, the processes involved
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands
• Ability to multi-task, organize workflow and use time efficiently
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to anticipate work needs
• Proactive in identifying accounting issues and providing solution
