Reports to: Accounting Manager Schedule: M-F, 8 hour shift

Will Train Applicant(s): Will train applicates, but better wages to those with experience

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review orders for billing accuracy and completeness
• Contact patients and insurance carriers via phone and email for missing insurance information
• Prepare medical billing, review for accuracy and completeness, and submit bills to clients
• Follow up with clients to confirm receipt of billing
• Follow up with clients on payment status
• Work with clients to resolve billing issues

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High-school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year accounts receivable experience preferred
• 1 year medical billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
