A local company in Goleta is seeking a full time Benefits Associate to join their team for a long term opportunity. This individual will be responsible for assisting employees with Benefit options!Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes weekly and monthly payments to various benefits providers.
- Maintains internal reporting for company benefits.
- Works together with providers to answer benefits-related questions from employees.
- Sets up employee benefits and 401k coverages in the company•s HRIS (SAP).
- Creates and sends benefits-related communication to employees.
- Works together with vendor partners and the internal HR team to develop and present open enrollment communications.
- Coordinates leave of absence (LOA) tracking in the company•s HRIS.
- 1 - 3 years• experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with strong phone skills
- Self-starter with the ability to learn new technical skills and programs.
- Ability to create reports and metrics
- Excel: intermediate to advanced (Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus!)
- General Benefits experience
- SAP experience is a plus
- Tech-savvy, self-starter, and self-driven
