Behavioral Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
Pathways Youth and Family Services is seeking a full-time Therapist based in Dallas. Job duties will be performed remotely with visits to the office as needed. Mosaic Behavioral Health provides high-quality individual and family therapy, targeted rehabilitative services, and psychiatric care to children and families, in community settings and via telehealth. Mental and behavioral health is the largest unmet health need for children and teens in foster care.

What you will be working on (essential duties not limited to the following):
- Provide telehealth and therapy to individuals, family, or groups as clinically indicated. In-home and in-office therapy may be necessary.
- Provide support and crisis management services as needed.
- Participate in case staffing meetings with other service providers.
- Complete initial diagnostic assessments to determine treatment needs, as well as conduct ongoing assessments to determine when clinical goals have been achieved and service delivery is no longer indicated.
- Develop initial treatment plans and update them to include age appropriate clinical interventions/objectives/goals that are observable and measurable.
What you will bring along:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field.
- Professional mental health license (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) valid in the state of Texas required.
- Experience with trauma informed care and family/group therapy.
- Minimum of one year working with children, families, and other individuals with behavioral health issues.
- Experience with foster and/or adoptive children and families and knowledge of the DFPS system.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the treatment issues concerning children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Competence using Microsoft Word, Excel, the Internet, and other software applications.
- Expertise in oral/written communication.
Due to the nature of our work, additional requirements include:
- Proof of valid Texas Driver's License (Type C), access to reliable transportation, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Three employment references.
- Cleared criminal background check.
- Cleared TB test results.
- Cleared pre-employment drug test.
- Working cellular telephone.
- Active Texas Medicaid Number or we can help if you don’t have one yet.
