Foundations Behavioral Health is currently hiring full-time Behavior Support Managers to support our Therapeutic Services Department at our Doylestown campus. This is an onsite position in Doylestown, PA.

This position qualifies for our $2,500 sign-on bonus!

Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing the assessment and behavior planning process for patients in program identified by the treatment teams to assure they meet best practice standard.
• Consult on the development of behavior plans and interventions across treatment teams in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Develop and implement training on behavior interventions for staff across disciplines that align with best practices, including both classroom and in vivo training.
• Assess milieu needs and work with unit treatment teams to implement solutions to create an environment that is responsive to individual patient needs, including maintaining a par level of materials/sensory items.
• Provide staff training on behavior interventions appropriate for an inpatient hospital setting.
• Oversees the program wide behavior management program.
• Ability to conduct self with professionalism and demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with youth, families, outside agencies, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university.
• Advanced education in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours.
• Two years’ experience with individuals with Autism or Intellectual and Development Delays in an inpatient or residential setting.
• Proficient with a computer and the required software programs as applicable to the job functions, including electronic mail, word processing, excel, and various databases
• Willingness to learn the hospital documentation standards
• Capable of performing written or typed record keeping and correspondence as it relates to job functions.
• Capable of rapport building with youth and their families to facilitate their engagement in the therapeutic services.
• Familiarity with generally accepted concepts, techniques and procedures of evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment.
• An availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
