Battle Command Computer Systems Trainer

Responsibilities:

Trainer for Intel and Fires section at the Training Center to support the Mission Training Complex (MTC), Schofield Barracks, HI

• Maintain knowledge and train one or many of the following Mission Command Information Systems:

Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P), Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of The Future system (CPOF), Command Web (CMD WEB)/ Engineers, AFATDS, Global Command and Control System (GCCS-A)/J2CM, Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS)

• Administer, Troubleshoot assigned systems
• Develop programs of instruction (POI) for computer-based training
• Provide technical assistance to training and military teams during all collective exercises at the MTC.

Other tasks as applicable include:

• Maintain records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
• May participate in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.
• Update course documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance.
• Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced instructors.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participate in special projects as required

Qualifications required:

• BS/BA 4-6 years of experience. (Preferred)
• Basic knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs.
• Basic knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter.
• Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.
