Job Description: Batterer?s Intervention Program Coordinator (40 hours FT)

Job Summary: The program coordinator (PC) for the Batterer?s Intervention Program (BIP) provides case management services primarily for the Batterer?s Intervention Program across all OAR service areas. The PC is responsible for documenting all client services to ensure proper data collection for program outcomes and certifications. As required, the PC will organize and facilitate virtual, in person, or hybrid group classes, and one-on-one sessions.
Education and Experience: A post-secondary degree in human services, criminal justice or related field is preferred. Comparable experience will be considered. The PC must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing with diverse populations and must be able to manage multiple priorities. Specific training and a thorough understanding of domestic violence are required. A working knowledge of computers is required in order to maintain database records and perform routine tasks.
