Spill Wine Bar in Winter Springs, FL is looking for one bartender to join our small but mighty team. We are located on 1196 Tree Swallow Drive. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged, and has reliable transportation. Living nearby is a plus due to on-call shift requirements.

This is a part-time position with only 2 (and an on-call) shifts per week. Applicants must be available all days of the week including weekend shifts and Sundays, times will vary. Reliable transportation is a must. We are looking for someone that lives locally due to on-call shift requirements.

Previous bartending/serving experience is required and wine knowledge is a plus. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must!

Bartender Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct all opening and closing procedures
• Pour and serve wine, beer, and other beverages
• cook and serve food when necessary
• Maintain stock levels
• Advertise the daily, weekly and monthly promotions of the bar
• Follow all food control and safety regulations

Bartender Requirements and Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
• Legally able to serve alcohol
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure
• minimum of 2+ years of experience working in as a bartender, server, or manager in a restaurant environment
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
• Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to carry 25 or more pounds of supplies
• Must pass a criminal background check
