Come join our team! San Remo Restaurant & Pizzeria located on the Connecticut Antique trail in Woodbury, CT is looking for a part time or full time Bartender.

Must be friendly, punctual, and a team player. Restaurant experience preferred but not required. We are a fast paced, busy restaurant that takes reservations and has a waitlist. Our Bartenders are paid minimum bartending wage plus tips. Weekly tips can average around $600 depending on the number of shifts picked up.

Please include current shift availability in response! Must have weekend availability and be able to take on 3 or more shifts per week.

Role Responsibilities Include:

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Process payment from customers
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences

• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere

• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
• Coordinate with kitchen and waitstaff
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol

• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time

Pay: CT Minimum bartending wage plus TIPS

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Requirements:

• At least 21+ years of age.

• At least 1-year of experience in the hospitality experience.

• Ability to work nights including weekends/holidays.

• Alcohol and wine knowledge a plus

• Knowledge of Restaurant POS Software

• Ability to understand and work with a sense of urgency.
