BARTENDER - BITTER & TWISTED
Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour is looking for a bartender to join our team. We are located on 1 W. Jefferson in the heart of downtown Phoenix.
Do you want to bartend at the busiest and most awarded cocktail bar in Arizona? Before you apply or send in your resume. You should continue reading first.
Do you have good knowledge of classic cocktails and liquor categories? Can you memorize 70+ cocktails down to the spec of measurement, garnish, ice, and glassware then pass a written test on a 99% passing grade? 2 years of proven working experience as a bartender in a high-end cocktail focused environment is necessary. Bar Smarts certified or equivalent.
Do you like people? Can you engage with someone you don't know and make them feel special and welcome? Without making our guests happy, we have failed, and there is no bar.
Do you have more than one gear? Can you step it up when it's game time, in precise and calculated movements, with speed and efficiency, while tending to and engaging our guests?
Are you humble, can you learn and take feedback without attitude?
Can you get your head down and work? Long hours on your feet come as standard. And you must be committed to this job on a full-time basis, especially at weekends.
Can you break down a bar to a pristine level of cleanliness after a long shift? And do it consistently day in day out.
Can you join our fantastic team at B&T and make it even stronger? Can you get on with others no matter what type of day or night you are having?
Do you come with added self-control as standard? This is the wrong industry for some, and the right candidate will not only know their strengths and weaknesses but also have an adult level of maturity and a level head.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Mondays. Compensation is $9.80 - $55.00/hour.
