Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN) is a growing center for artists and makers.

The Kitchen Arts Studio Dishwasher assists with dishwashing, clean-up tasks, and other organizational duties during Kitchen Arts Studio Classes & BARN Events.

Hours are flexible and vary with our programming activities. Classes typically require a 2- to 3- hour time commitment. Currently we average 3-5 classes per week, but we are expecting an uptick in the number of classes over the next several months. We currently have four regular dishwashers and are looking to expand our crew to meet demand.

Shifts are posted in our online scheduling tool 2-6 weeks in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All dishwashers will be required to have a valid Food Handlers Card. Upon hire, dishwashers will be given a state background check.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Wash dishes and clean up during and after classes and events
• Operate commercial-grade dishwasher
• Put away and organize clean items
• Sanitize high-touch areas
• Sweep, mop
• Clean up during and after classes
• Assist teacher and other volunteers with prep and setup as needed
• Attend periodic (paid) meetings

Compensation: $17 / hour. This is a contract (1099) position.
