StoryTime Coffee in Rogersville, MO is looking for a talented barista!!

Storytime Coffee Co. is a ministry and missional business of Story Church. Storytime Coffee is determined to become a common place for the people of Rogersville, MO; a place that people can come and escape the daily stresses of life. A comfortable place to meet friends, family or clients, read a good book, and of course, enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Position: Part-time (up to 30 hours)

Experience: 1+ years related experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:

• Customer Service Experience

• Passion for quality coffee

• Team Player

• Must be able to think on your feet and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining your composure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; to occasionally sit; to frequently walk; to reach with hands and arms; to speak or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

• Greet customers in a friendly manner, taking food and drink orders

• Prepare and serve beverages, ranging from simple to traditional ones

• Preparing and serving pastries

• Answering customers’ questions about menu choices

• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers

• Taking payment

• Maintaining inventory and equipment by daily cleaning and proper use of equipment

• Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized

• Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service

• Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu

• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 per hour

Physical setting:

• Coffee shop

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
