We are currently seeking a Ball Turner for our Assembly Department. This position involves using the turning post to turn leather football carcasses right side out. Must be able to handle simple tools as well as communicate and take direction from others well.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Remove and replace carcass in heating box.
- Place carcass on turning post and turn carcass inside out.
- Place carcass on pounding post and pounds points down with the hammer (game balls only)
- Remove and replace carcasses in transporter boxes, remove and replace transporter boxes on the conveyor belt.
- Stack and count carcasses.
- Maintain heater box by refilling water, maintaining temperature, etc.
- Keep necessary clerical records and clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We'll Provide
SIGN-ON BONUS (MUST MEET QUALIFICATIONS AS STATED IN POLICY)
$200 Sign on Bonus after completion of probationary period (90 days) of employment
$300 Sign on Bonus after 6 months of employment
$500 Sign on Bonus after 1 year of employment

Current starting pay for this position is $14.67 per hour and this is an incentive based position. The average incentive pay for this position is $22.46 per hour with potential to earn additional incentive pay.
