The Nothing Bundt Cakes Baking Assistant plays an essential role by partnering with the Baker to ensure a smooth, efficient baking operation. The Baking Assistant helps the Baker perform the baking process for our delicious cakes, meets dishwashing demands and is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitized bakery.

Accountabilities/Duties:

• Assists baker with accurately preparing ingredients and equipment for baking.
• Packages, labels and stores cakes.
• Washes, rinses and sanitizes all baking pans, dishes, utensils, and tools.
• Gathers and removes garbage, sweeps, and mops floors, and cleans floor drains.
• Performs routine cleaning of windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator, cooler, and bathroom.
• Assists in the unloading, processing, and storage of weekly supplies delivery.
• Complies with all health and safety guidelines, including dress code.
• Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements:

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• No education or work experience required.
• Previous experience in a food service environment is a plus.

Work Availability: Part time 15-25 hours/week.Employees at a franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery location are employed by the franchise owner/operator and are not employees of Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate (the franchisor). All inquiries about employment should be directed to the franchise owner/operator and not to Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate. Each franchise owner/operator is responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state and federal law.
