Authentic Gourmet Bakeshop (AGBS) is seeking an experienced baker to join our team at our production facility in Minneapolis, MN as soon as possible! It is the responsibility of our bakers to prepare a variety of cakes, pies, breads, desserts and breakfast pastries and dishes. Our bakery team follows existing recipes, and assists in the development of new items as well.

Job Description:

· Develop and produce bulk-quantity baked goods for local distribution, as well as baked goods for private banquets, weddings, and corporate functions

· Understand the need for precision, both in baking and in documentation

· Production scheduling

· Ensure the bakery is clean at all times, and meets all health code requirements

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following:

· A minimum of two (2) years professional culinary training or equivalent on-the-job training

- Ability to multi-task and maintain up to four ovens at any given time

· Experience mixing, scaling, dividing, baking, and cooking

· Food packaging and mass production knowledge

· Must be able to remain standing for the entire length of a shift, and carry large food items weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted.

· Flexible to scheduling changes, and able to work early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.

· Ability to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations

· Reliable transportation is a must

· Is authorized to work in the US, and does not require sponsorship for employment visa status
