Crown Staffing is seeking applications for a Bag Making Assistant in the Bardstown area! This full-time opportunity is a Direct Hire, pays $19-$24 an hour, and is available immediately!

This career opportunity is temp with intent to hire. While on assignment as a Crown Jewel, you can expect to enjoy such benefits as weekly pay, direct deposit or pay card, and the ongoing support of your Crown Staffing Team, who work to advocate for your success! After successfully completing the required hours, you may be considered for permanent placement with the client company!

Shift Details:

2nd Shift 2pm-10:30pm

As a Bag Making Assistant, you can expect to:

• Operates various types of printing machines including offset, letterset, and screen printers.
• Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of print jobs.
• Determines quantities required for print job.
• Matches colors for print job per job request.
• Aligns and configures machinery.
• Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of printings.
• Maintains inventory of supplies needed to operate printing machines.
• Troubleshoots issues with printing machine and makes basic repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on printing machines.
• Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
• Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Problem Solving
• Maintenance
• Machinery Experience

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to operate printing machines.
• Able to bend or kneel frequently.
• Must be able to lift 25 up to pounds at a time.
