Salary Range ($46,367 - $69,551)
The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Badging & Compliance Specialist. Applicant will be responsible for Collecting biographical/confidential information from badge applicants and current badge-holders, transmitting same information to the Transportation Security clearinghouse (TSC) electronically, collecting fingerprints and ensuring TSA clearance approval, then issuing the ID media. The work involves typing, receptionist duties, preparation of routine correspondence, filing, record keeping, scheduling training, issuance of identification badges and vehicle registration forms and processing public safety records. Workers follow specific guidance and procedures from TSA and refer nonstandard situations or problems to the Airport Security Coordinator (ASC). The position reports to the Chief of Public Safety
Applicant should have customer service experience, experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to perform general office work quickly and efficiently.
