We are searching for an ambitious, highly motivated Background Specialist to join our Compliance team. This critical role directly supports our sales teams by ensuring healthcare travelers meet company, facility, federal, and state background requirements to work in our client sites. This role directly impacts the growth of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Run background checks for employees on assignment, including state searches and fingerprinting
  • Communicate with compliance specialists to ensure an accurate background is ordered
  • Ensure all background documents meet Uniti, Client, State, and Federal requirements.
  • Ensure all documents and processes adhere to Joint Commission Standards
  • Work with internal staff to obtain incomplete information or correct inaccurate documentation before submission to client facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to accurately attend to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong working knowledge of Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Desire to achieve and celebrate success as a team and organization
  • Time management prioritization skills
  • Courteous and productive demeanor with internal and external business partners

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 Years of Background Specialist Experience
