David McDermott Lexus has an outstanding opportunity for all levels of Automotive Technicians to join our family! Flat rate, straight time, entry level. Here is your chance to make money based on your production.

Business is booming and we are expanding our shop! We currently have openings for both our Lexus AND Chevrolet stores.

We are looking for B Level and C Level technicians . Also entry level techs with the right stuff.

The perfect Lexus candidate is an up and coming tech ready to go to the big leagues WITH OUR HELP!!. We run a production system that encourages all the experienced Lexus/Toyota techs to teach and help the less experienced and help get them to Master status and 400.00 a month towards a BRAND NEW LEXUS!!!

OR

The perfect Chevrolet candidate is someone who has experience in GM or Chevrolet, and is looking for a well run, clean shop to work in. Someone who is already a certified GM mechanic, or has the willingness to learn and reach their top potential!

Candidates should be willing to work on multiple brands while always completing a thorough safety inspection.

Ideal applicants will be driven by success and growth and have the ability to multi-task and juggle more than one vehicle at a time. FIXED RIGHT THE FIRST TIME is a must.

Schooling or dealership experience is preferred but not required. Anyone working at an Independent garage, Midas, Firestone, Monroe are encouraged to apply.

Ideal applicants will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to stay busy and work as a team.

What will you do? Our Technician is responsible for conducting routine service on vehicles, diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles. The technician is the most up-to-date person in the dealership with regard to the mechanical aspects of vehicles and works closely with the Parts Department and with the Service Advisor. The Technician is also responsible for:

· Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs to others.

· Willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge.

· Ability to estimate time of service or repair job for purposes of efficient scheduling.

· Knowledge of parts requirements to complete a job, and ability to communicate parts requirements via repair orders.

· Knowledge of approved and established procedures for conducting service and repairs.

· Knowledge of and ability to comply with quality control and inspection requirements of Service Department.

What are we looking for?

· High School graduation or equivalent is required for all employees

· Current, valid driver’s license

· Automotive technician experience required

· Have excellent interpersonal skills and provide outstanding customer service.

· Ability to stay current by attending technical training schools and by reading shop manuals, technical bulletins, etc.

· Lexus OR Chevy experience preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
