Chariot Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Technician Instructor
The BRAND NEW, STATE-OF-THE-ART, Academy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Tipton is looking for an Automotive Technician Instructor to help launch our brand-new on-site Technician Training Center. We have the classroom and the technician bays for training located within our Dealership! We have partnered with a couple of surrounding schools to be the provider of their Automotive Training Center.
No teaching experience is necessary, we are seeking automotive technicians to share their real-world know-how with these students. This is a full-time position with Monday – Friday hours. No weekends required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach Automotive Technology classes in our state-of-the-art training classroom
- Provide hands on training
- Simulate real-life scenarios in our fully equipped technician bays
- Instruct students on the importance of safety and compliance
- Track the progress of the students and communicate it back to the student’s home school
- Prepare students for a successful career as an Automotive Technician
Requirements:
- 5+ years of field experience
- OEM or equivalent industry-related training
- Former or current ASE certifications
- Associates/Bachelors Degree preferred
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
