Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Industrial Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in a fast-paced automated environment, with a proven track record of success in performing both mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as experience repairing/replacing vision systems and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced automated environment.
• Diagnose and repair issues with vision systems and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve automation issues.
• Monitor and maintain automated equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced automated environment.
• Experience performing both mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Experience repairing/replacing vision systems and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of PLCs and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
