Accolade is currently hiring for a FullTime Autism Service Navigator position. Applicants will be working at Plymouth Meeting, PA or Seattle, WA office.

As an Autism Service Navigator, you will become the trusted go-to resource for military families and their children dealing with Autism. In this role, you will collaborate with parents to create a comprehensive care plan, identify resources and remove barriers to care, establish goals, and promote parental involvement to achieve optimal outcomes for their child. Your role will be to wrap around and support Autistic children and their families so they can focus on life while we remove obstacles for them. You’ll have the opportunity to ensure they have access to the right care at the right time… no problem is too big or too small.

A day in the life…

  • Serve as the primary/point of contact & advocate for the child and the family and build a trusted relationship with them
  • Gain a holistic view of the entire family to identify barriers and concerns, then help to find resources to remove them
  • Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral and clinical assessments to identify a child’s unique needs
  • Educate parents on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ABA therapy, and any related co-morbid diagnoses
  • Ensure beneficiary/family are accessing other benefits and local level supports & services
  • Collaborate with treating providers to ensure alignment on treatment plans, and promote awareness of upcoming authorization cycles to avoid gaps in treatment
  • Identify barriers and concerns and help families connect with local resources
  • Encourage and drive parent engagement thru access to parent-focused programs and available training
  • Ensure all services work in collaboration to achieve optimal outcomes for their child
  • Participate in medical team conferences with civilian & military care providers

What we are looking for…

  • A Registered Nurse, Certified Case Manager, Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a current unrestricted license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of active practice in their respective clinical area
  • Recent clinical experience in Pediatrics, Behavioral Health or Autism - Preferred
  • Case Management and Discharge planning experience - Preferred
  • Utilization Management & Managed Care experience - Preferred
  • Computer strength is a MUST – you’ll be listening, talking, typing – all at one time
  • Be an empathetic critical thinker – there are no scripts here – speak with your mind and heart, and be able to think outside of the box
  • Possess excellent communication skills, and organizational skills with a high tolerance for change

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 per hour
