Local Hero is seeking an Associate Media Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and steady hand to join our fast-growing marketing technology company. You will work closely with the media manager to deliver data-focused insights to the team. You have experience executing across multiple platforms and delivering high-impact media campaigns.

Local Hero is a MAAP – Marketing as a Platform – technology company that blends local digital media, dynamic ad creation, self-serve technology, and full-service value to create custom campaigns and increase consumer traffic for national brands and local franchisees.

A Week in the Life

  • Work within Local Hero media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, The Trade Desk, Waze, Google Ads, and others as needed
  • Create program reports and identify opportunities to optimize media
  • Manage the account usage of the platforms including setup, limits, account level targeting, and any other configuration
  • Manage media spend, ad placements, and pacing
  • Make changes to campaigns as needed including end dates, spend, and rotating creative
  • Utilize Factual for geo-targeting and Adform for ad tracking
  • Build media performance reports for campaigns, ads or targeting using Excel or Tableau
  • Work internally and with partners to create, configure, test, and improve audience targeting across platforms
  • Manage programmatic ad inventory, monitor utilization, and build new inventory
  • Work with the data team to ensure Google Tag Manager and site pixels are working correctly, and help create and configure any new site tracking
  • Confer with other media professionals across BHI to create and share best practices
  • Consult on effectiveness and testing of ads with Local Hero national accounts
  • Suggest improvements to the media buying process and advise on developing media automation systems
Requirements:


Here's what you need to get our attention:

  • 1+ years buying, managing, and reporting programmatic media OR paid social media
  • 1+ years buying media for local markets

Here's what will make us call you for sure

  • Experience using The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager and/or Snapchat
  • You can demonstrate the depth of understanding you have for performance media planning, buying, optimization, and tracking - and of course that you are self-sufficient in campaign set-up and maintenance
  • Experience working with ad servers or multi-platform attribution (Adform knowledge is a big plus) and working knowledge of cookie-based measurement
  • Intermediate+ skills in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, Vlookup, sumifs) and PowerPoint

NOT required but will definitely give you an edge!

  • Franchisee ad creation
  • Local digital campaign development
  • Google Tag Manager experience
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics certification

Base Salary: $50k-$60k DOE
